Adoptium Summit Series - How we did TCK with Eclipse AQAvit

Ubuntu releases include Java runtimes based on OpenJDK across all officially supported architectures. Each of the current long-term support (LTS) releases of OpenJDK is fully supported on Ubuntu LTS versions. Achieving TCK certification for Ubuntu's OpenJDK binary packages is crucial to Canonical's commitment to delivering reliable open-source technologies to Ubuntu users. In this talk, we will share our journey towards TCK certification. We began with no practical experience with the TCK and its execution. However, with the support of the Adoptium community and the assistance of the Eclipse AQAvit framework, which encapsulates years of JDK testing expertise, the process was significantly simplified. This allowed us to concentrate on optimization and further automation, both of which will be discussed in this presentation.
